Meet Clarissa Cervantes
Clarissa Cervantes is a working mother, businesswoman, and longtime community leader who currently serves as Councilmember for the City of Riverside.
A proven champion for our community, Clarissa has worked tirelessly on the Riverside City Council to deliver results for people, standing up to warehouse developers, voting to stop rate increases, and creating a 5-year plan to reduce homelessness.
As a Councilmember, Clarissa has successfully:
Secured millions of dollars in necessary road repairs, affordable childcare;
Supported small businesses with microgrants;
Championed environmental and open space protections;
Created opportunities for artists to beautify neighborhoods;
Voted to expand access to affordable housing.
As a mother to a 12-year old and with generations of farmworkers and veterans in her family who have served our country, Clarissa is deeply committed to standing up for the Inland Empire.
